Context
In March 2016, the Scottish Government launched their refreshed Cities strategy ‘Scotland’s Agenda for Cities’ building on ‘Scotland's Cities: Delivering for Scotland’ published in 2011, which established the Scottish Cities Alliance.
With the Scottish economy facing significant issues, the Glasgow City Region Deal in place, deals in Aberdeen, Inverness, and Edinburgh and the South-East proposed, there are big challenges and opportunities - how can Scotland’s cities and regions take advantage of these opportunities to secure inclusive economic growth and prosperity?
