Keep Scotland Beautiful - Climate Week 2016 is a new Scottish Government-backed national initiative to raise awareness and inspire action on climate change. There is still time for organisations to register and participate in the week, which runs from 16-23 September. In this article, we profile some of the events and activities that are currently being organised across the country.

Get Involved in Climate Week 2016 

Organisations, including the public sector, community groups, businesses and the third sector, are invited to participate in Climate Week 2016 by organising one or more events or activities. These could include tours of sustainable buildings or infrastructure, electric vehicle demonstrations, presentations from inspirational speakers, film viewings, or presentations highlighting recent climate change projects, plans or policies.

Climate Week is something that is easy to sign up to and which can be used to support any existing or new climate change activities – no matter how big or small – taking place in your organisation over the course of 16-23 September. Register by sending an email to [email protected].  You don’t need to wait until you have a plan of activities confirmed before you register.
