This morning at the Cycling Scotland Conference, Transport Minister Derek Mackay announced the launch of the Community Links PLUS design competition.
We are delighted to provide you with further details on this collaborative design competition for local authorities and other statutory bodies to conceptualise, design and deliver exemplar, high profile and inspirational cycling projects in Scotland. This competition will focus on proposals that help to restore balance in our streets in favour of pedestrians and people on bicycles through road space reallocation, removal of parking, segregated and/or protected cycle lanes and other interventions.
