The Town Centre Action Plan Expert Review Group recently published its report: ‘A New Future for Scotland’s Town Centres’. Following extensive consultation, the report offers a vision for how Scotland's town centres can play a central role in ensuring fairer, greener and healthier communities. Yet as we learn the lessons from the Covid-19 crisis and plan the recovery, how can this enhanced policy direction for towns be put into practice for the benefit of all?
To examine this issue, the CPG invites expert speakers from Scotland’s Towns Partnership, the Royal Town Planning Institute, the Scottish Land Commission, and South Ayrshire Council to discuss key challenges and practical tips to ensuring our town centres can be vibrant and sustainable places for all those who live, work and visit them. There will also be time for Q&A and discussion.
Please see agenda and RSVP below, and we hope to see you on the 10th.
