The purpose of the CPG is to analyse policy prescriptions and develop ideas and innovations. This, in turn, will help Scotland’s towns and town centres through the current economic climate to emerge stronger, smarter, cleaner, healthier and greener.
The June meeting will focus on the Scotland Loves Local Programme. Speakers will showcase how a national initiative can be implemented in both rural and urban settings to encourage communities to think local first. The meeting invites expert speakers embracing the Scotland Loves Local programme, Card and campaign to show the benefits to communities, citizens and businesses and share exemplars on best practice. With additional funding and support from Scottish Government, the meeting will conclude on the exciting route map of the programme.
