Join the Cross Party Group on Towns and Towns Centres for our Annual Parliamentary Reception, which this year will take place online.
The focus of the reception will be to celebrate the work of Scotland’s Improvement Districts. Throughout the pandemic, they have played a key role in many of Scotland’s towns, in supporting business and encouraging the public to safely use their local services. The event will also be a key opportunity to bring place stakeholders together to hear the latest about support for Scotland's towns
Chaired by CPG Convenor, John Scott MSP, we will hear from: Aileen Campbell MSP, Cabinet Secretary for Communities and Local Government; Councillor Alison Evison, President of CoSLA; Roddy Smith, Chief Executive and Director, Essential Edinburgh; and Professor Leigh Sparks, Deputy Principal and Professor of Retail Studies at the Institute for Retail Studies, University of Stirling and Chair, Scotland’s Towns Partnership.
Please RSVP your place below, and you can contact Elaine Bone if you have any questions about the reception.
