Scotland’s Towns Partnership’s Roadshow series runs across Scotland in Summer/Autumn 2015. The East Scotland Roadshow event will be held in Edinburgh on 20th October. It will engage with local authority areas covering Edinburgh, Midlothian, West Lothian, East Lothian and Falkirk. It aims to enable Scottish Government and a key range of delivery and support partners to update local authority, private and third sector groupings, through a focused session, to raise awareness of progress with the Town Centre Action Plan and the wide range of organisations assisting with project implementation and support. It builds on the towns national media campaign, launch of towns web portal, town toolkit, place standard and aims to help local practitioners understand the full menu of supports available; ultimately engendering new relationships and activity and better levels of engagement.
