An event by Zero Waste Scotland
If you’re involved in working with groups of businesses to develop and deliver projects to improve the local business environment, and your wider community, then this launch event is for you. That could include:
- Business Improvement Districts (BIDs)
- Local Chambers of Commerce
- Traders Associations
- Industrial Associations
- Other local business groups
Zero Waste Scotland have developed a free How-To Guide for business groups, along with a suite of handy tools and templates, to help you work with your businesses to improve their waste management practices, and drive down their costs.
This launch event will introduce the new Guide, and how business groups of all sizes can use it to identify and implement waste reduction opportunities.
The morning will include a run-through of the guide and associated support tools, presentations from a range of key stakeholders, and case studies from business groups across the UK who have already had significant success in delivering waste management improvement projects.
