Business Advisor
The Council are hiring a Business Advisor to support the delivery of the East Lothian Economic Development Strategy by providing advice, assistance and development support to start-up businesses in East Lothian through the ongoing delivery of the Business Gateway contract. As Business Advisor you will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of innovative start-up businesses across East Lothian. One day you could be helping someone to take their side hustle to the next level, the next supporting the launch of an innovative new world-class product, every day will bring something new.

Business Growth Advisor
The Council are seeking a Business Growth Advisor to support the delivery of the East Lothian Economic Development Strategy and lead the delivery of Strategic Workstreams 3 (improve the economic performance of East Lothian's key sectors) and 5 (enhance East Lothian’s business support infrastructure and make the most of assets). As Business Growth Officer you will have the opportunity to work with a range of innovative businesses at all stages of development. We are looking for an individual with the skills and enthusiasm to develop and maintain supportive relationships with East Lothian’s growth businesses, guiding them in all aspects of business planning. You will play a key role within the Business Development Team supporting delivery of the Business Gateway service and supporting key sector organisations such as the County’s Food and Drink Business Improvement District.

Senior Regeneration Officer
The Council are looking for a Senior Regeneration Officer to join their team to co-ordinate and facilitate sustainable regeneration activity and investment within East Lothian, in accordance with relevant legislation, the Council’s policies and agreed standards and priorities, with a commitment to achieve best value. As Senior Officer, Regeneration you will develop and manage regeneration and investment projects, identify and secure external funding, and work with communities to ensure sustainable outcomes. We are looking for an individual with the skills and enthusiasm to develop and maintain supportive relationships with local communities, supporting their regeneration aspirations, and develop these into deliverable and funded projects. You will play a key role within the Economic Development Service and lead the Regeneration Team.
