STP is joined by Global Treasure Apps, Historic Environment Scotland, Museums Galleries Scotland, Cultural Enterprise Office, Heritage Lottery Fund and more to highlight the possibilities for towns when they use their culture, history and heritage to reinvigorate and promote their place.
The event will highlight the opportunities, support and advice offered by our partners through short, sharp presentations with opportunity to connect one to one. Delegates will also hear from Queensferry Ambition (Business Improvement District), which has excelled in making the most of their heritage in order to raise the profile of their town. Take a look at Forth Bridges Festival 2015, led by Queensferry Ambition.
STP Chief Officer, Phil Prentice, reflects on the importance of heritage to our towns.
"...And whilst it is always important to look forward, it is also vital that we view our heritage as our USP, as Scotland's key economic, social and cultural asset, it’s what differentiates and defines us." Read more here.
