In July 2018 the Scottish Parliament’s Economy, Jobs and Fair Work Committee published a report from its inquiry into “bank closures: impact on local businesses, consumers and the Scottish economy”.

Scotland’s Towns Partnership’s Chief Officer, Phil Prentice, was invited to a committee session in order to give his input into the inquiry. Read the report here.

The Scottish Government has now published his response to the report, which can be read here.

Today (18 September 2018) there will be a debate in the Chamber on the Committee’s report.

You can watch it live on Parliament TV from 2.20pm.
