Resilient Scotland

Resilient Scotland Limited is the corporate trustee of the JESSICA (Scotland) Trust, Scotland’s only social investment trust. Resilient Scotland enables community organisations to contribute to the sustainable regeneration of areas affected by long term economic decline, improving the lives of local people.

It provides new sources of capital, delivered through models of social investment, enabling community organisations to become more enterprising and sustainable and have a meaningful impact on the regeneration of their area
over the long-term. To put it differently, it’s mission is to broker, facilitate and deliver finance and support for sustainable community regeneration.

Resilient Scotland offers two investment packages:

1. Start & Grow offers investment packages of between £10,000 and £60,000 to enable social enterprises and community organisations to start-up, develop and expand. All Start & Grow investments are made up of one third grant and two thirds loan
2. Making Enterprise Happen will make investments of between £60,000 and £500,000. Each will be in the form of a mixed grant and loan package, with a minimum of 50% to be repaid
