Zero Waste Scotland - The Climate Challenge Fund (CCF) provides grants and support for community-led organisations to tackle climate change by running projects that reduce local carbon emissions.
The CCF has awarded 1,097 grants totalling £101 million to 658 communities, for projects involving energy efficiency, sustainable travel, local food and resource efficiency.
CCF grants are available of up to £150,000 per organisation, per year for 2019/20 and 2020/21, with the deadline to submit an Expression of Interest being 5pm on 3 August 2018. There is also a series of 'Expression of Interest surgeries' where you can hear from CCF and other organisations (including Zero Waste Scotland), and ask question relating to your application. Dates start from 25 June and can be found here.
