Produced by the Scottish Tourism Alliance
Tourism Month has grown from the traditional, annual Scottish Tourism Week which takes place in March and in 2018 for the first time ever, Scotland’s tourism industry will connect throughout a month length series of industry events taking place across Scotland.
The aim of the event is to engage, connect and inspire all of Scotland’s tourism businesses and organisations, and of course to celebrate the enormous contribution of our tourism industry to Scotland’s economy.
Tourism Month will kick off with the STA Signature Conference at the SEC in Glasgow on 1 March. On the afternoon and eve of the STA Signature Conference there will be Advisory Workshops and a Civic Reception for those who are in town.
Over 25 sectoral, destination and business events such as the Scotland Food & Drink Annual Conference, The Thistle Awards and EventIt will take place all over Scotland throughout the month of March under the Scottish Tourism Month banner with a Parliamentary Reception hosted at Holyrood as one of the final events of the tourism month calendar.
Our mantra of ‘Tourism is everyone’s business’ is the driver behind the month long event and Tourism Month is your opportunity to get involved in these networking events and tourism conversations happening all over the country and to take inspiration and knowledge from some of the tourism world’s leading figures who will be joining us next March.
Whether you’re an individual, tourism business, public or private sector organisation, you’ll find a number of ways to get involved in this hugely important and inspirational nationwide event.
