The shortlist for the Herald Property Awards has been revealed. Set for Thursday 22 September at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Glasgow, Scotland’s Towns Partnership is supporting the awards for “Best Housing Regeneration Project” and “Best Townscape Regeneration Project”.

Upon the announcement of the shortlists, STP Chief Officer Phil Prentice said: “Set against a challenging economic backdrop, it is really heartening to see the sheer quality of entries to The Herald Property Awards. In particular, Scotland’s Towns Partnership is pleased to see the range of entries in both townscape and housing led regeneration. These show how good partnership and innovative approaches can dramatically improve our built environment and with that, improve local social and economic prospects.”

The shortlists for the STP-supported categories are as follows:

Best Townscape Regeneration Project

Aberdeenshire Council – Portsoy Conservation Area Regeneration Scheme (CARS)

Perth & Kinross Council – Kinross High Street Public Realm Improvements

Riverside Inverclyde – Gourock Town Centre
