Join Scotland's Towns Partnership for this year's Towns Tea Party!
Come along to network with STP and other town stakeholders over tea and cake, and hear about the latest developments and opportunities for Scotland’s towns and city neighbourhoods. At this year’s gathering don’t miss:
- Bill Grimsey and Matthew Hopkinson, co-authors of The Grimsey Review - An Alternative Future for Towns, 2013 & 2018.
- Phil Prentice, Chief Officer of STP on recent developments and future plans for towns in Scotland.
- Paisley Community Trust on their 'Baker Street' proposal for a cultural and creative quarter, voted winner of the FutureTown Design Competition 2017.
- Launch of the FutureTown Design Competition 2018.
- AGM with STP Chair, Professor Leigh Sparks, on activities and progress over the previous year.
Taking place in The Melting Pot, Edinburgh, this is an excellent opportunity to gather with colleagues from across the country to network, learn and to be part of the launch of the fourth FutureTown Design Competition. Paisley Trust submitted the winning entry in 2017 and will help us launch the 2018 campaign. More information and past entries can be found here.
The Towns Tea Party will also incorporate the Scotland's Towns Ltd Annual General Meeting and this is a great chance to be updated on STP's progress and future activities. Check out the STP Infograph for a quick picture of what we got up to in 2017.
We look forward to welcoming STP members and the wider towns network to Edinburgh for tea and cake. Full agenda and speaker list to be provided shortly.
This event is free for STP Members, who can RSVP below.
Tickets for non-members are £15+ VAT, and can be purchased here.
