Friday 5th February, 09:30-16:30, Keep Scotland Beautiful, Glendevon House, Castle Business Park, Stirling

Do you know that climate change is a problem and that more awareness is needed, but you lack confidence to talk about it? In this workshop you’ll gain a good basic understanding of the science of climate change and its potential effects. We’ll also learn how to talk about climate change in our communities in ways that will get people on board and feel empowered to take action.

Delivered by

Keep Scotland Beautiful, via the Community Action Support Programme (CASP). The CASP supports community groups across Scotland to take action on climate change.

During the day we will:

  • Examine the scientific basis for climate change

  • Explore the potential impacts rising greenhouse gasses and a changing climate

  • Learn about communicating climate change and practice some techniques for doing so

By the end of the day you will:

  • Have an improved understanding of climate change

  • Be more confident in talking to people about climate change
