This year, UEF2021 is being jointly organized with UN-Habitat and focuses on housing as one of the fundamental sustainable urban resources to build forward in a post-COVID-19 world. Through the exchange of practical experiences, the Forum will engage with urban stakeholders to advance the global dialogue both physically and virtually on urban economy and municipal finance to identify innovative and practical solutions and best practices to achieve the SDGs.
This year, UEF 2021 will emphasize the nexus between housing and the economic, social, cultural and environmental dimensions for urban prosperity and aims at shedding light on the impact of the pandemic crisis on housing, built environment and livelihoods in a comparative global perspective.
UEF will continue advancing a global agenda that can be implemented in a locally contextualized way with the priorities of people at the centre. The annual Forum continues to bring city leaders, urban professionals, community leaders and leaders from the private and public sector for progressive and collaborative dialogue.
