In May 2014, Falkirk Delivers (the Business Improvement District) took part in our Can Do Towns Innovation Challenge. The aim of the Innovation Challenge was simple. Find a redundant building and breathe new life into it The Challenge was, there was no funding and the space had to be a messy one and by messy we meant a place where people could share and collaborate and make work together. Not an Innovation Hub, not a Creative Hub, great though they are, but a mash up of all kinds of enterprise and enterprising people could become Can Do. In short a Can Do Space.
To say it was a voyage of discovery for all participants was an understatement, but on 27th August 2015 the former Walmsleys store on Falkirk's Callendar Riggs, will become the first Can Do Enterprising Space.
Come and hear the story. How it happened, who was involved, how it all fell into place.
Come and see what it looks like and what will happen next.
Come and join us as the next part of the voyage starts!
