Visit Scotland has a range of opportunities to support towns and their businesses in 2017, as part of the Spirit of Scotland campaign and the Year of History, Heritage and Archaeology. Read more below and visit links of sources of support.

In the Year of History, Heritage and Archaeology 2017, we celebrate the richness of Scotland's intriguing history, impressive cultural heritage and fascinating archaeology at exciting experiences and events. Explore ancient sites that date from the Neolithic era, uncover the history of the Scottish clans and taste whisky and local delicacies that have been hand crafted in Scotland for hundreds of years.

Meanwhile, with Spirit of Scotland, VisitScotland has launched its first ever global campaign for Scotland, with one message running through all our activity together with jaw-dropping imagery, landscapes and moods.

The Spirit of Scotland campaign looks to evoke the emotion, spirit, and mystic qualities of Scotland and is the base layer that everyone can build on.

Working with you and our partners in new ways is a priority for VisitScotland and the eBook below tells you a little bit more about what we are doing and how we can plan together.

Look out for useful links and tips to help you engage with the #ScotSpirit social media campaign and help with your own business marketing activity.

It’s a toolkit to harness all our efforts and boost business to Scotland in a new era of collaboration.
