Scotland’s Towns Partnership’s Roadshow series runs across Scotland in Summer/Autumn 2015. The West Scotland Roadshow event will be held in Kilmarnock, in partnership with East Ayrshire Council on 27th October. It will engage with local authority areas covering Glasgow City, East Renfrewshire, Renfrewshire, East Dunbartsonshire, West Dunbartonshire, North Ayrshire, South Ayrshire, South and North Lanarkshire, Inverclyde and of course East Ayrshire. It aims to enable Scottish Government and a key range of delivery and support partners to update local authority, private and third sector groupings, through a focused session, to raise awareness of progress with the Town Centre Action Plan and the wide range of organisations assisting with project implementation and support. It builds on the towns national media campaign, launch of towns web portal, town toolkit, place standard and aims to help local practitioners understand the full menu of supports available; ultimately engendering new relationships and activity and better levels of engagement.
